This October, 1,400 bankers from across the United States came together for the annual American Bankers Association conference in Nashville. While in town, they heard how community development financial institutions (CDFI’s) like Pathway Lending collaborate with bank partners of all sizes to support local businesses.

During the conference, bankers toured the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood to visit Dozen Bakery and Nashville Craft Distillery, both Pathway Lending clients, to witness firsthand how these banking partnerships are building businesses and strengthening communities. The Tennessean published this op-ed with more information about how CDFI’s and banks of all sizes are “building communities, financing small businesses, creating jobs and turning the wheels of the economic engine that will keep all of Nashville’s citizens moving full-steam into the future.”
