Tennessee businesses looking to become more energy efficient will get another chance to apply for loans that are designed to pay for themselves.

Tennessee, the Tennessee Valley Authority, Pinnacile Financial Partners and Pathway Lending announced the $50 million “energy efficiency loan program” in August. It is designed to help businesses pay for energy upgrades in a way that won’t negatively impact the bottom line. To take part, businesses must complete an energy audit and make improvements whose projected savings match or exceed their loan payment.
