Pathway Lending, a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) as designated by the U.S. Treasury Department, announced the hire of  Tony Taylor as Vice President of Lending for East Tennessee. Tony has over 12 years experience in the financial industry. During this time he has served as Assistant Vice President and Banking Center Manager for First Horizon Bank and Mountain National Bank. Prior to entering into corporate banking, Tony served nearly 30 years in the US Air Force. Tony joins Pathway’s team of experienced lenders across the state of Tennessee- bringing access to capital in our communities.

“Assisting clients to access the funds necessary to make their businesses a reality will be a priority in my new position. Helping these clients to build their businesses will be one of the most rewarding experiences we can do at this juncture in their lives,” says Taylor.

A native Blount Countian, Tony graduated from the Community College of the Air Force with AAS Degrees in Education, Music and Multimedia Production. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Johnson University in Knoxville graduating Summa Cum Laude and his Master of Arts from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
